Blatem Intumescent Mortar
Description
Description
Intumescent mortar composed of lightweight expanded aggregates, perlite and vermiculite,
hydraulic binders, setting controllers and projection improvers.
Properties
The mortar forms an insulating layer between the support and the fire, producing a set
of physical-chemical reactions that give rise to carboniferous and insulating structures by exposing a material to the flame.
Applications
For protection of metal structures, in hotels, public buildings, pubs, discos,
ship habitat areas, industrial warehouses.

Approvals and Tests
Tested under standards:
European standard: (EN regulations) 13381-8
Chilean regulations: Nch 935/1.
It has the CE marking, DITE 12/0005.
Surface Preparation

Instructions for use
The material comes prepared for use.
For both manual and mechanical application, between 8 and 9 liters
of water must be added per bag.
The mechanical application must be done using mortar spraying machines with
a wet screw pump type Putzmeister MP-25.
General Observations
The environmental humidity conditions must be less than 97% and the temperature
greater than 0ºC.
Presentation
In 17 Kg bags.
Colors: White.
Storage
The INTUMESCENT MORTAR is suitable for use up to one year after its supply as long as it is stored protected from rain, humidity and cold.
The bag should be kept closed and in a dry place.
