General remarks
The consumption indicated per m2 is theoretical. The losses must be calculated on it. All intumescent paints have official certifications for fire resistance over time, and there is a table that relates fire resistance to the variables time, thickness, load and consumption. · New wood outdoors not exposed to the sun or rain: Apply a coat of our Poliurethane Fondo 799 (polyurethane filler) to seal the wood. Then apply two coats of Varnilac as on interior wood. · Varnished wood in good condition: Once sanded and cleaned, apply two coats of Varnilac to reheated surfaces as in the previous cases. · Varnished wood in poor condition: Once stripped and cleaned, proceed as with new wood. Apply the product in thin layers and respecting the repainting times.
