Description

Solvent-based epoxy finish, cured with modified polyamides. Properties Good adhesion, resistance to abrasion, and to chemicals (especially bases); good application, performance and coverage.

Applications

High quality epoxy paint, for coating industrial systems, such as parking lot floors, factories, warehouses, etc., on concrete and cement. Indoor use.

Technical Characteristics

· Color: Gray floors RAL 7038, Green floors RAL 6021 and Red floors RAL 3009.
· Appearance: Gloss.
· Density: 1.30 ± 0.25 (UNE-EN-ISO 2811-1 and 2).
· Solids by volume: 50 ± 2%.
· Drying (touch): 2-4 hours.
· Repainting: Minimum: 12 hours / Maximum: 15 days.
· Flash point: 26ºC.
· Recommended thickness: Wet: 60-100 microns / Dry: 30-50 microns.
· Yield: 12.5 m 2 /kg (40 microns). Data for mixed product at 25ºC.
· Number of layers: 1-2.
· Mixing ratio: Weight: 100/33 / Volume: 100/50.
· Catalyst: Blatepox Soils Catalyst, Blatepox Soils Catalyst E 1 or Blatepox AD Catalyst.
· Mix life: 8 hours. · Stability in the container (cool and dry place; 15-30ºC, rh-60%): More than 1 year in original closed container. VOC: 2004/42/II A(j)(550/500) Max. COVS 400 g/Lt.

Approvals and tests

Water permeability (CE Marking) W < 0.1 Kg/m2 h0.5. Obtained value: W= 0.03 Kg/m2 h0.5 (EN 1062-3:2005). Water vapor permeability (CE Marking) Class ISD Value obtained: SD = 1.2 m (EN-ISO 7783-1/2). Peel-off adhesion (CE Marking) ≥ 1.0 (0.7) b. Obtained value: 2.97 ± 0.60 MPa (UNE 1542:2000). Abrasion resistance (TABER test) (CE marking). Weight losses less than 3000 mg, H22 grinding wheel / rotation 1000 cycles / load 1000 g. Obtained value: 126 ± 24 mg (EN-ISO 5470-1). Impact resistance (CE Marking) Class II (≥ 10 Nm). Obtained value: ≥ 10 Nm (EN-ISO 6272-1). Resistance to strong chemical attacks (CE Marking). Decrease in hardness by less than 50%, when the measurement is carried out according to the Buchholz method EN-ISO 2815, or according to the Shore method, EN-ISO 868, 24 hours after removing the coating by immersion in the test liquid . Value obtained: Class II (28 days without pressure) for the following test liquids: – Group 1 (gasoline). – Group 3 (diesel and unused engine and gear oil). – Group 11 (inorganic bases and their hydrolyzing alkaline salts in aqueous solution (pH>8) except for ammonium solutions and oxidizing solutions of salts). Surface preparation

Apply over epoxy or polyurethane primer, shop-primer epoxy or vinyl. On older epoxy or polyurethane paints, it is recommended to give a slight roughness beforehand.

How to use

Air gun: 25-30” CF4 (nozzle 1.5-2 m/m, 3-4 atms). Airless gun: As is (0.018”, 120 atms). Brush/roller: 0-10% Blatepox Solvent. Application conditions: Temperature ≥12ºC / humidity ≤80%. Diluent: Solvent 333 or Blatepox Solvent. Cleaning Solvent: Cleaning Solvent L or 330.

recommendations

Stir the contents of the containers and the mixture of the two components, until the product is homogeneous; Do not store opened or started containers. Consult the safety sheets for toxicological data.

Presentation

In containers of 4 (3+1) and 20 (15+5) Kg. Colors: Gray floors RAL 7038, Green floors RAL 6021 and Red floors RAL 3009.

Storage

Maximum recommended storage time: 1 year in its original container, well closed and protected from the elements (covered and at a temperature between 5 and 35ºC.)

Safety information
