Flame retardant anticorrosive primer with high drying speed for use on iron surfaces.

Properties
Very fast drying, good anticorrosive power and ease of application, as well as high performance and coverage.

Applications
For the protection against rust of all types of iron surfaces, fences, windows, doors, structures, etc…both in the workshop and on site.

Technical Characteristics
· Color: Grey.
· Anticorrosive effectiveness: Good (in moderate urban and industrial environments).
· Adhesion: Good.
· Touch drying: 15 ± 7 minutes at 25 ± 8oC.
· Repainting: Between 2-4 hours.
· Viscosity: 160 ± 30” F-4 (Ford cup no.4) at 25 ± 8oC (ASTM D-1200).
· Density: 1.44 ± 0.15 gr/cc (UNE-EN-ISO 2811-1 and 2).
· Fineness: 6.5 ± 1 HG (Hegman degrees) (UNE-EN-ISO 1524).
· Yield: 5-7 m2/kg.
· Stability in packaging: More than 1 year in original closed packaging.
· Utensils: Cleaning with Cleaning Solvent or Universal Solvent.

Approvals and Tests
Reaction to fire, UNE-EN 13501-1:07+A1:2010 standard, European classes: A2, S1, d0.
Surface Preparation
Clean and degrease the surface well, remove poorly adhered paint and brush
rust spots or oxidized parts, until obtaining shiny iron (st.2).

Instructions for use
Reduce with our Universal Solvent to spray application viscosity. It must be
applied with a spray gun, leaving the distribution uniform.
On these primers it is necessary to apply our synthetic finishing enamels
such as Blatemlux, Pintaluz, etc.

Recommendations
Stir the contents of the container until the product is homogenized.
After use, cover the container, trying to leave little air space if it takes a while
to use it again.

Presentation
In containers of 5 and 20 kg.

Storage
Maximum recommended storage time: 12 months in its original container, well
closed and protected from the elements (covered and at a temperature between 5 and 35ºC).
